Tanya L. Young is a BIPOC writer and visual artist. She holds an MFA in Poetry from Western Washington University. Her visual and written work has been featured in publications like Salt Hill, Jeopardy Magazine, Mud Season, Santa Clara Review, New York Quarterly and others. She was the 2022-2023 Poetry Editor for Bellingham Review and is a staff reader for Maine Review and Upper New River. She has also read for publications such as Frontier Poetry and Tupelo Press.
